For many flyfishers fishing with a doublehand fly rod is still associated with "work or power". Power is not really needed. In this course, you will get to know Göran Andersson's "Underhand technique" with the doublehand fly rod. A very effective technology to present your fly elegantly and effortlessly. You will be able to present your fly in different directions and angles precisely. You will be able to cast in very cramped places between trees and bushes. You willpresent your fly to long distances effortlessly. Through the intensive cooperation with Göran Andersson, the inventor of this technique, Hans Spinnler is one of the few instructors worldwide who can teach you the correct "Andersson style" with the singlehand rod. You will enjoy how easy, powerless and with the elegance which the "two-hander" can be fished if you apply the technique properly. In this two-day course you will learn the most important factors to know how to be a good doublehand caster and more successful salmon fly fisherman. . This course is suitable for beginners and also for advanced fly fishermen. The course targets are: • The principle of the underhand technique • Choosing the right equipment: Rod, line, leader and fly. • Basic - Unterhand cast (waterborn cast) • Overhead cast (airborn cast) • Casting different angles over the right and left shoulder. • Tactical Basics of successful fishing for Atlantic salmon Instructor: Hans Spinnler.
